Q: Who are you?
A: I am Crissie, born and proudly raised in Singapore. You can find out more on my About page.

Q: How I got the name, Devil In The Skull?
A: More on About page or this post :)

Q: Why created this blog? What is your plan?
A: I initially started out my blog as a hobby after watching many movies and reading late Roger Ebert's reviews. It wasn't until in 2014/15, I realised that most people have no idea about which the movies and television series are worth the watch. Newspapers such as The Straits Times sometimes give misguided information especially when its writers do awards season predictions and recommendations. This creates a more stronger sense and purpose of making Devil In The Skull not only a platform where people can read my opinions, but also a honest guide to what happens in the world of movies and other entertainment like music, etc.

Q: Do you make money from blogging all those posts?
A: All posts created are not sponsored. I am in no way affiliated to any organisations ever mentioned or listed. Everything is free for use, except you must follow the license below:

Q: Are you still studying?
A: Yes, I am currently a Year 2 student taking Diploma in Business Information Systems in Republic Polytechnic. I was previously in Polytechnic Foundation Programme which allows me to skipped GCE 'O' Levels and had a head start in polytechnic. You can find out more on this post.

Q: What are your favourite films/television series?
A: Almost all the films and television series I reviewed are my favourites. If I were to be asked to list out five films, I would say Purple Noon, V For Vendetta, The ArtistVertigo and Psycho. For television series, it would be Penny Dreadful, Peaky Blinders and The Crown.

Q: Any favourite singers/songs/albums?
A: I am a fan of The Neighbourhood, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Banks and The Last Shadow Puppets. I have also been following this Aussie singer, Bobi Andonov whose singles such as Apartment and Faithful are making impact to my song choices. You can listen to the playlist I have created (updated regularly) on Spotify here as well as the selection of French songs here.

Q: Is there any social cause(s) that is/are close to your heart?
A: As an autistic person myself and former student of both Pathlight School and Rainbow Centre at Margaret Drive, I am definitely a strong supporter for the awareness of special needs. I am also a supporter for the LGBT+ community and believe that people have the right to love anyone.

Q: You seem to not regularly update the blog. Is there anyway to allow readers like us to know what you are up to?
A: Yes, there are ways you can know what I am up to. You can find Devil In The Skull on Facebook or Instagram. Instagram is a more preferred way because I usually post things there and have it integrated with Facebook, meaning you can get updates at real time. You can also scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page where you can check every update from each social media that I used.
